Brian McKnight is the latest rhythm and blues artist to cover one of the entertainments most loved stars. We’ve been posting talented artists such as Tank, and Jaheim paying homage to some of their favorite musicians because we think it’s important for newcomers to realize who paved the way for them.
A lot of people will read the headline and say “Brian McKnight doesn’t have enough range to cover Chaka Khan’s classic single Through The Fire” and we’ll just say to that person you must have been sleeping up under a rock if you think Mr. McKnight doesn’t have the Pipes to knock this classic out.
